EUROPEAN CENTRE OF ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL LAW (ECEFIL)

The European Centre of Economic and Financial Law (ECEFIL) was established on 8th July 2010 by decision of the Senate of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, at the initiative of Professor Constantine Stephanou and Associate Professor Christos Gortstos, both, Professors of the Department of International and European Studies.

ECEFIL enjoys administrative independence and is accountable to the Section of International and European Institutions of the Department of International and European Studies.

The Management Committee consists of five members appointed for a three-year term by decision of the Senate of Panteion University. Professor Constantine Stephanou has been appointed as the Centerʼs first Director.

In the framework of the Postgraduate Program in International and European Studies, the Center supports the postgraduate specialization on “International Economic, Financial and Banking Law”, carried out in cooperation with the University of Saarland.
